Outlook Sign in

I have the same problem, checked my email this afternoon, now I can not. Did not accept my password. Changed my password. New one was accepted. When I used it, it was not accepted. Been using msn/outlook for over ten years and never had a problem. Now problems are allay every day. All I was is to use email. Right now it is useless to check my email on my home computer.

I understand that you seem to be having trouble signing into your email.

You are definitely not the only one who finds the New Outlook to be a nightmare. Admittedly, the New Outlook currently has some shortcomings and may not meet all users' expectations. However, with updates, it is expected to improve over time.

Regarding your issue, I might need some clarification.

• What do you mean by 'pull up 365'? The New Outlook is actually a free application and should not require a Microsoft 365 subscription.
• Are you saying that you need to re-enter your account password every time you open the New Outlook?
• If so, what email domain are you using?

I liked the outlook emails of windows 10. Why can't I open my emails like windows 10?

Have you opened the Microsoft 365 (Office) app?

If so, I suggest you directly search for and open the application you want to use, rather than going through Microsoft 365 (Office).

Microsoft 365 (Office) is not actually a subscription. It is a standalone, free-to-download launcher. Normally, it can open web-based applications if you haven't installed the apps, and desktop applications if you have. However, if you encounter any issues, I recommend directly opening the application you want to use.

Apparently there are more than myself who have had this issue. I will add that I know you can have Outlook without 365, however, when you do pay for 365 you get the Outlook associated with the app? All I know is that even as of today, every time I need to access one of the 365 apps, the screen opens asking me to log-in either into the Microsoft accent I am already using or times it asks only for my pin. I do have more direct access to Outlook after being able to add the app to the task bar. In summery what is most annoying is MSN might announce changes, but they are not clear, e.g. authenticating, or something changes, e.g. OneDrive. I am still trying to sort out files from that mess.
