I AM NOT GETTING THE SOUND NOTIFICATIONS AGAIN :( This is after my pc was updated (microsoft windows). It also is affecting my fingerprint sensor. It does not work anymore. I have to login by typing my PIN :(

HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours

I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.
I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.
I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

All other sounds/notifications work; is there a workaround to get the sound notification on incoming emails going? I am restricted by employer on using OWA or PWA.
I have multiple users running into this issue as well.
It appears to be intermittent; one user began having issues last Friday and is no longer having issues.
Some users are still having issues while others have not had any issues at all.
Im having the same issues - tried all the fixes - was working fine until last week. No changes to my system. I have sound on everything else .
Without notifications I am missing emails . This needs to be looked into and fixed. Please advise.
Same here. I started having issues on 8/16/24 and still do not get new email notifications today. This is a huge problem and needs to be fixed asap!
I already did that but still no notif sounds.
