HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours
Hello!
I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.
I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.
I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

I have a client having the same issue, when I tested it on my desktop and laptop it does not work on either and all the settings are correct. We have 1 guy in the office where it is still working for him. We are all using windows 11.
I have the exact same issue. I have been working on this for hours. It doesn't matter what browser I use and the settings are all proper.
I have spent over FOUR hours over the last three days in online chats with SIX techs from Outlook and lastly with one from Windows support. I have amassed a list of Indian first names long enough to start a New Delhi phone book. Final conclusion from the Windows techs? Recent updates to the Outlook web app eliminated the sound notification for ALL customers. So to quote that young gal from the Caddyshack movie - "Tanks fer nuttin'" Microsoft. Way to screw over your customers.
Take all of those names, throw them into a bag and make a name for this bug on Outlook. We will call it that. Same issue here.
