Outlook Web no notification sound when receiving emails

I AM NOT GETTING THE SOUND NOTIFICATIONS AGAIN :( This is after my pc was updated (microsoft windows). It also is affecting my fingerprint sensor. It does not work anymore. I have to login by typing my PIN :(

HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours

I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.

I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.

I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

    Hello, I noticed today that calendar notifications are making a sound, but not new email notifications. Can we please get a reply on this and if someone is working on this? I have done every fix possible, all things are selected correctly, and getting notification for an calendar event lets me know this is a Microsoft OWA email notification issue only, not a system and not a notification selection issue.

    I'm having the same issue, I noticed it sometime in the morning on Monday the 19th of August 20224. I have checked all the appropriate Outlook notification settings and web browser permissions and everything is set correctly to receive inbox notifications. I've tried different browsers and confirmed this is specific to Outlook on the web. Other web-based email inbox notifications are playing without issue. This is happening on my MS365 email account that I use for work. I work in IT and I rely on these notifications to alert me to new issues and questions from employees that require my immediate attention.

    This is a serious Outlook online issue and Microsoft Support should issue a fix ASAP.

    I have been having the same problem for the past week. Everything is turned on, I have tried Chorme, Firefox and nothing works. Have restarted my PC. This is very annoying that its not working.
