I AM NOT GETTING THE SOUND NOTIFICATIONS AGAIN :( This is after my pc was updated (microsoft windows). It also is affecting my fingerprint sensor. It does not work anymore. I have to login by typing my PIN :(

HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours

I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.
I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.
I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

Wanted to add this as I found a work around adding the email as a favorite works
Don't need to do any other setting it seems just have the email as a favorite
I will keep trying things but wanted to throw this out there as it's a work around but in no way a fix
Admin portal in system health blade
I am an admin at a company and found the issue in the service health of the ms365 admin portal. I am having the same issue including teams notifications and calendar notifications not dinging, so waiting for a patch just like everyone else.
Where did you find this information?
Do you have a link to this information? I’m hoping there is a way to receive updates via the link once the issue has been resolved.
