The issue seems to have resolved itself for me. I don't know how it happened.

I AM NOT GETTING THE SOUND NOTIFICATIONS AGAIN :( This is after my pc was updated (microsoft windows). It also is affecting my fingerprint sensor. It does not work anymore. I have to login by typing my PIN :(

HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours

I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.
I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.
I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

2024-08-23T14:34:11+00:00 I ran into this issue and was able to resolve this issue by simply clearing the cookies for the site and reloading the page.

2024-08-23T14:11:07+00:00 I was having the same issue. I turned the "Notifications in Outlook" setting off, then back on. Now it works.
