HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours
Hello!
I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.
I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.
I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

Microsoft has eliminated that vital feature for all customers as part of a recent Outlook automatic upgrade. No warnings, just eliminated it. Most online chat agents are unaware of this as well. Microsoft's new customer service motto? "We're not happy until you're not happy."
I wasted 3 days and over 4 hours with NINE online agents with foreign sounding names before learning this little tidbit of 'secret' info.
I am having the same issue. I noticed it a couple of days ago. I too checked my settings - all good. Rebooted. Still not working...
Same problem for our users as well, only in OWA and with new emails only.
I think this is a Microsoft issue and needs fixing.
From the replies in this thread many people rely on the notifications for working effectively.
Can you resolve asap for us all.
Thanks
