Outlook Reminder window has become much smaller

Try this please:

Close Outlook.

Outlook.exe /ResetFolders from the command line.

If that fails:

Control panel >> Programs & Features >> Select Office >> Change (not uninstall), Make sure Quick Repair is selected and click on Repair.

There is one more step after this one that we could try if these options do not work.

Thank you very much for the quick response.

Unfortunately your suggestions did not resolve the problem.

You have suggested that I remove and add the problematic account to Outlook again.

I am not sure I fully understand what that means.

The reminder window to which I refer is related to the calendar.

Everything else works fine with Outlook. it is just the size of the reminder window.

I have another registered copy of Outlook on another computer and the reminder window is the normal size.

I have managed to upload pictures of the Reminder Windows

The first one is the "new" smaller window which mentions 4 reminders but only shows one at a time

The second one is the original size which lists all the reminders at the same time (only 2 in this example)

I am not sure if this is the result of a Microsoft Office update on this computer and this is a "new" design of reminder..

I am an Independent Advisor, trying to help other users in the Community with my experience in Microsoft products. Please note that I am a user like you and don't work directly for Microsoft.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue and I hope the following suggestion will work in your case.

1. Press the Windows key and R to open the Run dialog box, enter wsreset.exe, and select OK. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close. You can close the Microsoft Store window.
2. Click Start, type Command, right-click on Command Prompt, Run as administrator. Type these commands: sfc /scannow (and press Enter)
3. If you use the New Outlook you can try to Reset or Repair the app Windows Settings >> Apps >> Installed Apps >> Outlook (new)) >> Advanced Options >> Reset or Repair.
4. If you use Classic Outlook you can also try to repair Office: Control panel >> Programs & Features >> Select Office >> Change (not uninstall), Make sure Quick Repair is selected and click on Repair.
5. If that does not work, I suggest you remove and add the problematic account to Outlook again.
