Outlook Reminder window has become much smaller

Uninstalling & reinstalling Office seems quite a big job as I have several office 2021 apps installed.

It seems odd that Outlook is otherwise working fine, the reminders "pop up" when required, and it is just the size of the reminders window that is the problem.

There another thread on the same subject, which I have only just discovered.

A few other people have this issue where the window was the correct size and then is now the reduced size.

Unfortunately no solutions were forthcoming.

Could the problem be with a corrupted entry in the registry?

Since the normal Outlook repair did not work, let's try this option: https://support.microsoft.com/office/7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b

Scroll down to "Running Repair didn't help. Now what?" and click on Download and follow the steps.

This will completely uninstall Microsoft 365 and then reinstall it.

OK, the other repair option I had in mind won't work then.

Let's do this:

We need to remove the Outlook cache files as something is corrupt.

The following process will remove all your accounts from the Classic Outlook desktop application.

Ensure you exported your mailbox to a PST file before proceeding with the steps below.

Make sure Outlook is not running.

Press the Windows key and R to open the Run dialog box, enter wsreset.exe, then select OK. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close. You can close the Microsoft Store window.

Then clear the Outlook cache files from your computer:

Press the Windows + R keys at the same time to open the Run box. Type the following path into the box and press Enter. %localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook

It’ll open a folder containing your Outlook profile and cache files. You want to find the folder that says RoamCache and double-click on it to open it.

All the files you see on your screen are the Outlook cache files. Delete them all and empty your Recycle Bin.

Try to open Outlook again and log in with your username and password.

Outlook.exe /ResetFolders unfortunately did not resolve the problem and the quick repair did not work either.

As I have two email accounts and don’t fully understand why either of these would cause a problem with reminders for the calendar, I have not removed these
