Not sure how this happened but the new outlook is easily the worst piece of software I have ever seen. That takes into account MS-Dos and Win 95 disasters.
No clue why on earth they would force this garbage on us, when most of us used to say how great outlook was......
I MUST get back to classic now and how can I do it as it dropped all my other email accounts and created armageddon

I agree with you - the new Outlook is HORRIBLE! So I Googled how to switch back and now what I have is a blend of the old and the new. How do you like that! Pretty blasted sneaky - I'm soooooooooo angry.

This solution worked for me. However, the download seemed to get to about 90% and then just sat there. After 40 minutes, I rebooted and the Classic Outlook was back. I agree that this should be pinned to the top, if possible.
It is truly a waste of time trying to set up software that has multiple issues that Microsoft is doing nothing to address
