How can I stop all the unauthorized login attempts from around the world?

I've had a huge increase of people trying to sign in to my email account the past few days. As in multiple attempts every hour, every day, from all of the world. I've had to change my password daily and I'm worried about my email getting hacked. Is there any extra security or anything else I can do other than the two factor authentication that can protect my email from being hacked. It's insane the amount of login attempts that are happening lately. Multiple attempts at the same time in different ends of the world. I've never had this happen before. Will it decrease eventually?

    I set up an alias! so far it has worked!

    If you do the alias change don't forget to disable the original login email from being able to log in.

    If on web email go to your account info, scroll down to manage sign in and click on Sign-in preferences > Change Sign-in preferences.

    I don't know what the equivalent options are in the outlook program or in app, perhaps someone will add to this ?

    Hopefully your original email will still receive emails! (I'm still testing)

    The bots will then try to log into an email which is no longer valid, whether they eventually give up remains to be seen.

    I doubt your rogue email from "M&S" has done any harm if you didn't click any further (other than possible tracking)

    Hope you're not dealing with this any more; I've been having the same thing happen, multiple times a day from all around the world (guessing a VPN or my email eas in a data breach somewhere) for months and I can't even change my PW because of "too many attempts"

    I've downloaded the Microsoft Authenticator and they have still been able to attempt to login and that keeps booking my account from the multiple tries. what else can i do?
