How can I stop all the unauthorized login attempts from around the world?

I've had a huge increase of people trying to sign in to my email account the past few days. As in multiple attempts every hour, every day, from all of the world. I've had to change my password daily and I'm worried about my email getting hacked. Is there any extra security or anything else I can do other than the two factor authentication that can protect my email from being hacked. It's insane the amount of login attempts that are happening lately. Multiple attempts at the same time in different ends of the world. I've never had this happen before. Will it decrease eventually?

    If you use the alias method by setting up an alias login email which you will use to log in, and not allowing the original email to be used to log in, nobody will be able to attempt to log in to the account which is getting attempts from hackers.

    As long as you look after the new alias and don't post it anywhere where it can be harvested and you use Authenticator (vital) there won't be any future attempts.

    Your original email address will still work, it will still get incoming mail, you don't need to (and should NOT) delete it.

    Hello, I did the alias, and all was good, but I just looked at my sign in activity again today and now they are trying to sign in using my alias. They have never been able to login, but they are getting access to my alias now too. I have never used my alias for anything except signing in. I only created it last month. I am confused on how they gained access to the new alias!

    Thats not a good sign as this is what the experts are telling us to do, create an alias

    Its time microsoft to do some serious checking of this issue regarding unauthorised login attempts. If the alias is creating a problem thats serious

    Yes I agree, I am on live chat wait list with Microsoft. I just did these a few weeks back. That is how I found out about creating an alias. I did not use the alias for anything except signing in, but they have it and are unsuccessfully trying to login with it now. Luckily, they have never been successful. Thanks
