We received your request for a single-use code to use with your Microsoft account.

Your single-use code is: 908607

If you didn't request this code, you can safely ignore this email. Someone else might have typed your email address by mistake.

Thanks,
The Microsoft account team

Hello Lisa Murphy3,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you received an unsolicited CAPTCHA. The following diagram illustrates the possibility of an unsolicited code.

If you just received an unsolicited code out of the blue, the odds are that someone incorrectly entered an address (whose address may be similar to yours) when requesting the code.

Please ignore the email for now and observe if you continue to receive such emails please let me know again.

Best Regards,

Jimmy Wang |Microsoft Community Support Specialist

How can I be certain that no one has accessed my account with the single-use code that I did not request?

I too, get almost daily email confirmations that I requested a single use code when I did not. Many others have posted the same question and the stock response by Jimmy Wang |Microsoft Community Support Specialist stating "If you just received an unsolicited code ... the odds are that someone incorrectly entered an address ... when requesting the code.

Please ignore the email for now and observe if you continue to receive such emails please let me know again."

I am letting you know again!!! This many, day and night, are NOT accidental.

I now expect it is Jimmy Wang himself hacking into my Microsoft Account - Can you please respond with HOW DO WE STOP THESE UNSOLCITED SINGLE USE CODES?

    Hi Jimmy,

I have been consistently recieving these emails (to my secondary email account) for what seems like several years now. I have enabled MS Authenticator and other means of securing my account.

Please can you and the Microsoft Team ensure that my concern has been appropriately logged such that these extraneous login attempts can be further investigated through the appropriate channels.

    Kind Regards,

I'd be contacting Microsoft directly to make a dispute.
