We received your request for a single-use code to use with your Microsoft account.

Your single-use code is: 908607

If you didn't request this code, you can safely ignore this email. Someone else might have typed your email address by mistake.

Thanks,
The Microsoft account team

Hello Lisa Murphy3,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you received an unsolicited CAPTCHA. The following diagram illustrates the possibility of an unsolicited code.

If you just received an unsolicited code out of the blue, the odds are that someone incorrectly entered an address (whose address may be similar to yours) when requesting the code.

Please ignore the email for now and observe if you continue to receive such emails please let me know again.

Best Regards,

Jimmy Wang |Microsoft Community Support Specialist

    Hi,

I have received 3 emails yesterday, March 1st and another today, March 2nd saying that I requested a single use code, each message had a different code BUT...

I DID NOT REQUEST A SINGLE USE CODE for my Microsoft Account / Email Account (fla_******@hotmail.com). Someone must be trying to Access my Account Information.

Please let me know what I should do because of this Security Issue.

    Thank you

    Susan P

Continue to get these. I even changed my secondary email account to an unknown one thinking this was some sort of bot or script trying go generate authorization codes with "known" secondary emails but that didn't work they are able to figure out my new secondary email even though it is partially obscured by *** on the login page. There is some way these people are getting our secondary emails and this is a security risk.

These are all foreign IP addresses (China/Pakistan). Happens daily or several times per day every day for months

I also received this notification and my account was somehow charged $19.99 for Microsoft 365.
