My account has been hacked and subsequently locked - can I speak to someone to have it unlocked?

Dear Microsoft Community,

I was on holiday earlier this month and made the mistake to logging into an unsecure WiFi. The result of this is that my email account was hacked and used to violate Skype's T&C's.

As a result of the above my email account has been locked.

I have tried on numerous occasions to have my account unlocked, however my appeal has been unsuccessful every time...I've attached a copy of the latest response from Microsoft. Other messages from Microsoft have stated that they can not verify my identity....I have offered to send a copy of my passport in order to verify who I am.

I have also written a letter to Ms. Clare Barclay, CEO, Microsoft UK in an effort to get help, however to no avail.

I have used my email account satisfactorily for c20 years, however this seems to account for little.

Can you please help me?

Thank you

Mark king

I also sent emails to execs at Microsoft. Most bounced but a few didn't. Not long after that I was contacted by a human at the escalation team. Could just be coincidence.

I was trying for about a 2 weeks before receiving the escalation email.

I went on the Web chat alot and kept asking to be escalated to supervisor.

    Hi Amir,

Can I ask how long it has been since this started?

I called my Australian bank on Wednesday just gone and was then locked out.

It sounds like this has happened to you twice?

    Helen

    Same problem here.

My wife called our bank in Australia. Then we were locked out.

    Hi Helen,

I called my Aussie bank before Christmas and it worked fine until last week.

This happened twice but the first time it was resolved as I raised it with their team.

Not sure how we could raise this issue.

    Regards,

    Amir

    Hi Amir,

To be honest, I don't know either.

I've seen on a different post that someone did get it sorted by continually hounding them on the online chat until he eventually got an email back from the escalation team. I tried that but then the chat said the Online Safety team have made their decision and they were archiving my chat. This seems to have affected a number of people and I don't know why Microsoft haven't cottoned onto that. Seems they don't care.
