NEW Outlook (2024) Snooze calendar reminders to "5 minutes before"

On the new version of Outlook, the only snooze options for calendar reminders are 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours. The problem is when the calendar reminder is set to hit a day before the appointment, none of those intervals are enough to get it out of your face for the rest of the day. Is there a way to bring back the 12 hour snooze, and the 5 minutes before snooze, at the least?

Dear MICROSOFT, please bring back the functionality of the flexible Snooze feature. What you implemented in the new Outlook doesn't fit the corporate users needs at all. Thank you.

No, that is not what I am saying. I set Tasks as reminders that sometimes I dismiss right away as it was just a quick reminder, and sometimes I snooze them to come back to at a later date or to just keep as an ongoing reminder. In the old Outlook, the standard snooze options are 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 0.5 days, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, 1 week or 2 weeks. The old Outlook also allows you to enter custom snooze time, so you could reset a Task for 8 weeks, or 30 weeks, or however you long you would prefer. The new outlook only allows you to snooze 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. The new version does not allow a user to enter a custom snooze time either. ImageImage

ditto everything people are saying re the snooze .. there needs to be the ability to snooze to longer than two hours (maybe allow a custom number of hours / days / weeks etc) .. right now I'm finding the lack of very simply functionality that is being omitted very annoying (eg not able to collapse folders another one!) .. Microsoft shouldn't be releasing tools that aren't ready

.. can anyone recommend a better tool ? i've only ever used Outlook and realise they are most likely going to stop updating the older version for security patches etc

It's been nearly a year of asking for better snooze functionality, and still it hasn't been fixed. Please bring it back! I agree with all of the commenters who need this basic function!!

Do Microsoft still look at this thread?

I wonder if there is a new (more effective) way to engage with the people that can influence improvements (or in this case simply equality with all previous versions) of Microsoft's applications for business?

I have used Microsoft's business suite software for decades and all previous changes "upgrades" have been evolutions (meaning if you were familiar with an earlier version of the software application, all the short cuts your brain 'muscle memory' had unconsciously developed still worked), however this latest one seems an evolution and it takes a long time to 'unlearn' the way you have always achieved your results and discover how you now have to complete the same thing that you used to do without thinking about it

Perhaps its just me getting too old and resistant to change, but I am certainly feeling less productive than I used to be, having to consciously think (or sometimes even ask 'google' for assistance) about how to do the things I've been doing for years as easily as breathing
