How do you permanently turn off new outlook?

I don't like it, I don't want it, I am not going to switch to it, and I never want to see it again. For the longest time it would periodically switch to the new outlook, I would turn it off, and submit feedback stating the previous. Now it auto opens every single time. I do not ever want to see the new outlook again for the rest of my life. Do not make me switch to Mac or Linux or whatever because I am petty and will eventually become so disgruntled and delete everything Microsoft and never spend another dime on anything they make over something stupid. I want to know a way to permanently delete the new outlook off my system so it doesn't get to that point.

Microsoft does not care. They know what's best for us.

I would not say for us. Looks like they want to drop support for Office Outlook for Windows codebase and move to cross-platform code based on Outlook Web. And as the most of cross-platform solutions it works the same bad on all the platforms. Maybe this is better than Office Outlook for Mac.

I'd go to Ubuntu Linux instead. More stable and secure than either Apple or Windows

The new outlook is nothing but a piece of ****. If it does not quit installing itself on my computer I will be forced to switch providers. It causes a bunch of my programs to not be of any use to me. Make it Stop!!

New Outlook is potentially the WORST SOFTWARE EVER.

When I got my new PC around Christmas I downloaded classic Outlook and uninstalled New Outlook. Then, during the last month, every time I went to log into Outlook a web browser would pop up "encouraging" me into new Outlook. I had to finagle ways to get into the app.

A few things I tried that might work:

    1. In Outlook, go to File / Options / General, scroll to the bottom and unmark the checkbox that says "Automatically switch me to the new Outlook app."
    2. If you use Outlook for POP3 / SMTP or IMAP email from a non-Microsoft provider, in each of the accounts check that the servers are correct. Mine covertly switched me from my provider's POP3 and SMTP servers to Yahoo servers.
