I don't like it, I don't want it, I am not going to switch to it, and I never want to see it again. For the longest time it would periodically switch to the new outlook, I would turn it off, and submit feedback stating the previous. Now it auto opens every single time. I do not ever want to see the new outlook again for the rest of my life. Do not make me switch to Mac or Linux or whatever because I am petty and will eventually become so disgruntled and delete everything Microsoft and never spend another dime on anything they make over something stupid. I want to know a way to permanently delete the new outlook off my system so it doesn't get to that point.

Hi Diane,
Just stunned at the dumbed down version of Outlook on my new laptop.
I don't have a "general" folder under Outlook in my registry.
I have the slider in New Outlook to turn off New, but that just closes outlook. I don't get the classic back.
Any suggestions?
Has MS gone stupid and requiring only New with no options?
Thanks!
I am so tired of opening Outlook and its reverted back to the new version. Its terrible. Why can it not just record that I have switched it off and remember that?
I've done the usuals to prevent a program from installing, so far this VIRUS WEASELS it's way in.
_In the past performing the 127.0.0.1 in HOSTS worked flawlessly.
_Allowing this VIRUS to load, I found the file location & renamed the .exe then seeing if it still worked, it did. So that's something new.
_Working the REGEDIT didn't produce anything.
WHAT'S NEXT? Hopefully someone can post the package name when it's sent via Microsoft. Maybe that can be blocked.
🤨 SO MICROSOFT, WE DONT WANT THIS P.O.S. YOU CALL AN UPDATE... IT'S A DOWNGRADE!
So I did that because I read it on another post as “the easiest solution” and me not being super Outlook savvy , well I thought it was worth giving it a try. It was indeed easy and done in 2mns, except that everything disappeared including my mail button. I went to get it again in the windows search bar and reinstalled it, restarted my PC, double checked New outlook was gone for good and happily clicked on the old mail button..
Well… it keeps opening the new one, no matter how many times I click and even the old one is gone from my programs.
And of course no toggle button on the new one, this one is also gone.
I’m so done with this ….. starting to merge one of my mail to Gmail but need more time for the other.
