How do you permanently turn off new outlook?

I don't like it, I don't want it, I am not going to switch to it, and I never want to see it again. For the longest time it would periodically switch to the new outlook, I would turn it off, and submit feedback stating the previous. Now it auto opens every single time. I do not ever want to see the new outlook again for the rest of my life. Do not make me switch to Mac or Linux or whatever because I am petty and will eventually become so disgruntled and delete everything Microsoft and never spend another dime on anything they make over something stupid. I want to know a way to permanently delete the new outlook off my system so it doesn't get to that point.

HI. Thank you all for the advise and good help about getting rid of the new outlook. I did uninstall the new outlook. Now all I have is the classic. Sometimes it's taken away but I can open my Start page and click on "all apps" and scroll down to the classic outlook and click on it, and it's back.

No more problems. I still have the toggle on my email but I'm not going to go near it. Ha.

Hope you all find this helpful.

    Thanks,

    Cat Moore

I have deleted it repeatedly! Every time, it comes back! Is there a permanent solution?

Over 2 FREAK'N HOURS I finally get back MAIL (not NEW OUTLOOK). Not sure where Ms heads at but it's surly not on this planet. I truly believe Ms should start PAYING US for all this work. Since Win-95 to today I have at least 2,000 hours of fixing ms screw'ups. What's ms programmers repair rate???!!!
This New Outlook is basically grade school level programming, yes it looks & works that immature.
Went through SETTINGS, APPS, REGISTRY, START MENU, uninstalled NEW OUTLOOK, made SHORTCUTS & other ETC's offhand forgot. Now I have a Short-Cut of MAIL pinned to the Taskbar BUT, always a but somewhere, that Short-Cut it's blank, no icon. It won't let me chose.
Is Ms trying to send users away? SURE LOOKS LIKE IT.

A user posted a comment on my website - https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/classic-outlook-not-new-outlook/#comment-221507 I have not tried it though -

    >>

I found out the new Outlook version is in the following folder:C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.OutlookForWindows_1.2024.925.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.
I prevented the installation of the new Outlook bij renaming of the folder Microsoft.OutlookForWindows_1.2024.925.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.
To do this I had to become owner of the ( Hidden) folder C:\Program Files\WindowsApps.
How to change owner is written here: https://www.guidingtech.com/how-to-access-windowsapps-folder-on-windows/
