I don't like it, I don't want it, I am not going to switch to it, and I never want to see it again. For the longest time it would periodically switch to the new outlook, I would turn it off, and submit feedback stating the previous. Now it auto opens every single time. I do not ever want to see the new outlook again for the rest of my life. Do not make me switch to Mac or Linux or whatever because I am petty and will eventually become so disgruntled and delete everything Microsoft and never spend another dime on anything they make over something stupid. I want to know a way to permanently delete the new outlook off my system so it doesn't get to that point.

That is exactly the issue, we're trying to find out how to STOP/BLOCK it from self installing.
As far as I can see only a Class Action lawsuit will stop Microsoft from FORCING its installation.
It simply does not work for the major majority of us. Some features we need have been removed.
I have absolutely no idea how it worked for you, but for me and most users, Outlook just installs itself whanever possible.
For anyone who is struggling with the same, i have created a small script, that removes and stop from being use. the script follows the steps outlined by MS (Control installation and use of new Outlook - Microsoft 365 Apps | Microsoft Learn)
you can download from here Disable new outlook. Cheers.
DONT Follow these instructions !!! I did and My computercrashed - spent the day doing a factory reset - thanks **** !!
