"Report Phishing" no longer go to Deleted Folder

In the past few days, I've noticed if I tick emails in the Junk folder to "Report Phishing", they no longer go to the deleted folder. They disappear momentarily and I get the "nothing in junk icon, etc. but, if I go to the inbox and back to the Junk folder, those emails are still there in the Junk folder.

This is off topic .. please keep the replies specific to the above case.
... and you are also incorrect in this case. email's which you have signed up for will typically first get placed in the junk folder unless you mark them as "not junk". This is a mechanism that helps identify mass-market email senders.

2024-04-22T18:22:59+00:00 I totally agree with this. A lot of what goes into Junk mail is not junk, rather advertising. So for them to say that it will automatically be deleted in 10 days is status quo for all Junk. They are abdicating any involvement with phishing or scam emails it appears. Shame on Microsoft.
