In the past few days, I've noticed if I tick emails in the Junk folder to "Report Phishing", they no longer go to the deleted folder. They disappear momentarily and I get the "nothing in junk icon, etc. but, if I go to the inbox and back to the Junk folder, those emails are still there in the Junk folder.

I am having the same issue.

None of the suggestions work. It is clearly an Outlook issue. Hopefully their tech team will research and fix asap!!

Unfortunately that only blocks the email address as seen in the email which can be altered by the sender and is often a random set of characters "at" a random set of characters domain and doesn't exist.
It shouldn't be difficult for email providers to block any emails that have these type of sender email addresses as they are obviously up to no good.

    But I doubt they will.

My solution to get rid of the Junk is to select the tick (to the right of Junk email) and then the tick to the left which will select all the emails in Junk.

Then right click (Block - Block sender) this will block them and delete them from Junk email. That way at least those ones won't come back into Junk.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Obviously, there's an issue with Outlook if this many people are having the same issue.

It has been like this for a month now. Is Microsoft dropping a good support on personal products? This is so annoying.
