"Report Phishing" no longer go to Deleted Folder

In the past few days, I've noticed if I tick emails in the Junk folder to "Report Phishing", they no longer go to the deleted folder. They disappear momentarily and I get the "nothing in junk icon, etc. but, if I go to the inbox and back to the Junk folder, those emails are still there in the Junk folder.

Same thing here and it's aggravating! The messages disappear for a minute and look like they are gone, but then come right back! Nothing changed on my end - it all of a sudden just started doing that.

OK.. I'm actually really concerned that the phishing emails are NOT actually being reported since Outlook is reporting them as "unread" after they've supposedly been reported. I also think this due to the very fast time the emails disappear from the list (even though they're not really gone)... before Microsoft messed this up, it would actually take a few seconds for Outlook to do the Reporting process and I could watch the number of junk emails go down one by one. Now it is instantaneous. Not having warm fuzzies about the process working at all.

    Thanks,
That's what I am doing now, report and empty the folder.

I have had the same problem and like the original poster. I had no success with the many options suggested. What I have found to work is report as normal. Let the emails come back to Junk and then select the three dots to the right hand side and click block and then it removes all those in the junk folder.

I don't know if that does anything except empty the junk folder

@magpiebaby I have a hard time finding the right link to their chat support. Most of the links I click on for help does not get me to an agent. Do you mind sharing the link to the live support so we can all report this? Thanks.
