Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Restarting Outlook fixed it for me
The workaround is to schedule through "New Teams" Calendar

Hi,
I have a PC with windows 11 and Office 365. I have installed the New Teams on it.
the user cannot create a teams meeting from outlook calendar.
When I looked for the add-in Options>Add-ins, I didnt see the add-in there, not even in the inactive or the disabled.
The add-in is installed when I looked in %AppData\local\microsoft\TeamsMeetingAddin..
I tried to uninstall Teams but again same problem.
I took the plugin from a PC that can launch teams meetings from outlook and put it in the folder of the PC that cant and it worked for a day now its not.
thank you

Thanks for your response, I agree it seems to just disappear. I had better luck with 64 bit version of new Teams installing the Teams Meeting Addin, but it doesn't stay in the calendar for multiple test accounts I had.
A new version was released to fix the missing add-in issue, so you should be good now.
Any update from support on this? @ Glenn Turner (glenn.turner)1
My suggestion would be to contact Microsoft support. I am also encountering challenges with the new outlook and the new teams. If/when I have a solution, I will post it, but our stuff is intune deployed so we software deploy/update everything from intune.
