Is there a way to pin/lock the Favorites to the top of the folder bar?

I have hundreds of email folders and when I scroll down, the pinned Favorites scrolls up and is not visible. This causes me to have to scroll all the way back up to get to my inbox. Previously it stayed in place & I could click the inbox. Thank you

Regarding the age of this post we can stop waiting for this feature as the Microsoft Team seems not to work with Outlook or the new Outlook in a serious way. If they would the favorites would be fixed on top already for a long time. This makes it completely nonsense to use the New Outlook.
When I read it is "not feasable" I suggest to learn about CSS and fixed containers.

Additionaly I am no friend of web apps on the desktop at all.

Why so many words in a simple resonse to a simple answer. Sounds like it's some sort of AI generated answer. Don't try to control everything for us - Outlook has worked well for a long time and it's configurable. Simplify it but it also needs to be familiar and easy to use. I use Favorites exclusively to just between the seven or so email accounts I have in Outlook.

I have the same complaint. It seems that the new Microsoft takes one step forward and two steps back! I went back to my old version on my PC.
