Stop automatically installing the new Outlook

My problem is I use NHS mail for work. Access has been fine for years in the mail app, but I'm locked out of that now, and the new Outlook app tells me my organization does not have a licence for outlook for windows.

So congratulations Microsoft, that's the 7th biggest employer in the world, an organization with 1.38 million employees, locked out of your software and looking for an alternative. Although given the kind of scam ads microsoft is feeding us, I'm sure there are very few security conscious business users who'll want anything to do with outlook going forward.

Indeed, Wino mail is an excellent alternative to Windows Mail, but for those that also use the Windows Calendar, it is not the entire solution. The app "One calendar", also found in Windows store, is a good alternative to the Windows Calendar.

For those using Microsoft To-Do, know that MS To-Do will at some point eventually be replaced by "Microsoft Planner", another of Microsofts "forced upon us"-apps, so consider "One task", a to-do app by same developer as "One calendar".

Able to easily add the same emails.

So I am happy to have stumbled upon it, as now I can say good bye to a windows controlled email application completely

Follow the steps in page 3 but with some updates:
After uninstalling the F'ing outlook(new), go to windowsapp folder to destroy this new horsesh_t folder
"Microsoft.OutlookForWindows_1.2025.117.600_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe"

Create another folder under this name and eliminate the access.

Wait for a few months to do the same for another newly named f_ck.
