I'm not using "the new Outlook", I'm staying with the "classic Outlook". Since I don't use it, I have to delete the app. To my surprise, it re-installs itself after a period of time. It's super annoying since I have to keep deleting it How do I stop this from happening?

So what I did is I uninstalled Outlook while the Mail app was still open, that way I made sure the folder got deleted. So I could create my own, edit the permissions, and so far, it's been a day and Outlook hasn't installed again.

I agree this is like the straw that broke the camels back kind of thing. I'm seriously about to switch completely over to something like ubuntu.

I also suggest "fan fork" the Windows mail app that called wino mail on GitHub, which is already available in the windows store https://github.com/bkaankose/Wino-Mailhttps://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9ncrcvjc50wl?launch=true&mode=full&hl=en-us&gl=MD
