Stop automatically installing the new Outlook

It was PITA, but I came to terms with this transition, even though I have 22 mailboxes that I have to manually transition and some of them don't even work any more. BUT after "Outlook (new)" asked me where I want to display my ads I F****** LOST IT. What the actual F*** do they think they are doing? The licence to the Pro version of Windows costs almost $200 and they have the audacity to ask where I want to display ads? The Windows Mail app used to come with the system and they are now replacing it with a malware version of Outlook. What a joke.

So I did the whole folder thing and New Outlook keeps installing as soon as I close the Mail app.

I don't even use the Old Outlook, I like the Mail app in particular because it's so simple and sleek, no banners, no garbage, just my emails. I don't know why they're so obsessed with pushing their new programs if users don't want to migrate. Like how does this affect them? If I don't get more updates or support, what about it? The app worked perfectly fine as it was, there was no need to replace it or update it.

I was facing the same issue with the New Outlook being forced upon me, and I found nothing seemed to work long-term. I also prefer the old Mail app for its 'Focused' and 'Other' sorting features.

To tackle this, I wrote a Python script that automatically uninstalls New Outlook anytime the Mail app is launched or closed, and it even sends uninstall requests at adjustable intervals while the Mail app is open.

Once this pc dies so will windows for me. It always seems that ms always puts out a good product then follows that product by forcing you into a terrible product until people complain. This time it seems that they are not and will not listen to their customers. I am going to buy a used pc and try Linux. I had used it many years ago and it was ok, but windows was more familiar, so I stuck with windows. Not the case anymore. It appears Linux is much more user friendly now, and windows is less user friendly, and intrusive. They are trying to act like Chrome OS or Apple. Obviously they did not learn from the past when they tried to compete with Android. Remember windows phone . A complete and utter failure. They will run this company into the ground. It really is a shame. MS is proof that overly educated people are not necessarily smart.

let me know if you find a way to stop/block new outlook and just use normal mail app please.
