Stop automatically installing the new Outlook

Thanks, Wino Mail looks like an excellent alternative to Windows Mail app, I will have a look at it!

Currently, I have run OutlookRemover, have set up the blank folder in WindowsApps, and have NOK running, and it sort of works to stop New Outlook - opening Mail triggers the new Outlook installation (but to where I don't know), unpins Mail from the taskbar/start and pins itself there (once installed), but gets uninstalled a few seconds after finishing installation. So it does get removed, but causes an annoyance every time of having to either re-pin Mail to the taskbar/Start or cancel the installation manually before it can finish.

Well, this worked for just over a week, but Microsoft figured a way around it and now Outlook is back to automatically reinstalling itself. Now you can only do these instructions each time you want to try Windows Mail, and redo do them every time after.

It worked (Github) sign up, look for the item )repo:matej137/OutlookRemover the button says code) download it, then run the bat code as a administrator. The change to outlook shows up in Mail but if you click on it nothing happens. (Thank the Lord). Outlook's font is too small and you're looking at all the accounts. I have 4 hotmail accounts and Mail is so much better for my eyes to work and see one account at a time.

Though your "solution" works, I do not recommend this "hack"; it is a System-folder, and there is a reason for it is hidden. Meddling with Ownership and Security Rights, can seriously damage your Windows Apps and Windows OS.
