Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
My gmail is what's going into the Junk folder. No idea how to stop that.

Outlook is constantly sending legitimate emails to the junk folder. These are usually from new senders, so I can't fix it by adding their addresses—I don't know who they are ahead of time. I have tried to create rules to move things out of the junk folder automatically, or prevent emails with attachments from going to that folder, but they have no effect.
I don't mind checking the junk folder, but the problem is the Microsoft deletes junk emails after 10 days. Can I either get rid of the junk email folder (I'm happy to sort the emails myself), or have this time extended? This unwanted, unnecessary feature causes many more problems than it solves.

This is quite annoying and costing me time and money from missing school emails, client emails, etc. I concur with all the comments: WHY IS OUTLOOK SENDING EMAILS TO JUNK WHEN THEY ARE FROM EMAIL ACCOUNTS THAT I HAVE BEEN USING/INTERACTING WITH??? School email, banks, etc.
All my emails are going to my junk folder or the sender is told that they can’t send me emails. I have trouble with this email since its inception. Very upset!
thanks Dave, I will give it a shot!
So, I did have this problem, but I did everything they told me to do and it didn't work. Try this,
DO NOT add them as a safe sender
