WHERE is spell check in new outlook?

Go Bret! I'm amazed that MSFT has gone backwards with "New Outlook"! ****!?

Hotmail was better than Outlook, but Outlook used to be functional.

when you looked for something the MICROSOFT answer did not say, as it does in this 'answers microsoft.com' (oxymoron) it says:

"spell check t is "HIDDEN" under the elipses." and that wastes time for people who write for a living and thought computers were a step up from the old typwriters. Word processers are not supposed to be scavenger hunts. Just try getting copilot off your computer...

I Hate the new Outlook and recently purchased a REAL TYPEWRITER to stop the nightmare of using MICROSOFT programs that now make the simplest tasks a nightmare of frustration and wasted time looking for 'hidden' basic editing functions such as spellcheck!

and the audacity to PAY MONEY For this nightmare is an insult to everyone's intelligence.

Just open your Outlook email, click on the settings gear on the top right-hand side of the page (for new outlook)

Settings page opens

click on left side for General

General window opens slide cursor to the right and click on Privacy and Data

Open Privacy and Data

Privacy and Data window opens

Scroll down to Privacy settings

Click Privacy settings

Scroll down to the bottom and slide button to on for "Experiences that analyze your content"

Then click close

start a new email and write the wrong word and see if it works. I have gone directly to this setting multiple times to ensure it works. Not hard anymore.

There is NO editor to this. takes less than a minute to do.

How about if editor is grayed out and Privacy and Data just has "Microsoft Privacy Policy" and "Search History" where do I get spell check then?

Yes. Edito is greyed out for me too!
