My subfolders in the new outlook seem to be sorted by date of change/creation. How can I sort them in alphabetical order?

Hi! If you go to the tap "view" right next to "Mail", then click on "Folder pane" then the third option "Sort folders" you can choose: A to Z or Custom folder order.

In the NEW OUTLOOK version, how do I get my subfolders to sort in the order of my choosing? When I switched to the new outlook, it sorted my subfolders in alphabetical order and I do not want them in that order. But when I tried to move them in the order that I need, there is no option to move them around within the parent folder it is currently in. I had tried the right click option from above, and there isn't even any sort of sorting options what so ever now.

It does not stay sorted in alphabetical order. Every time I open a subfolder, the parent folder sorts according to modify/change date (latest at the top). I want it in strict straight alpha order.

there is no such command. could you please review your answer and provide a fix for this issue.
