Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
MS has our money, we have a deficient product. MS is happy and we are not. It is clear customer service and satisfaction are low priorities.

Hi, I'm running the new version of Outlook on Windows 11, and have connected to both my Uni (O365) and Gmail (Microsoft Cloud). O365 works fine, but the Gmail account doesn't sync read status back to gmail. I.e. outlook gets the correct read status from Gmail, and it syncs things like starring/flagging emails back to Gmail. But although I can mark things as read in Outlook, that status never syncs back to Gmail. The same is true on 3 different PCs, so it's not peculiar to one particular computer.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the heads up!
One would think that MS could afford 10 minutes to inform us on this forum.
Yes, still having the same issue. I contacted MS by chat in the support section of the New Outlook. They told me they know about this problem, and it will be solved in a future release (no ETA).
The email client is not syncing with Gmail. But Gmail is syncing with the email client just fine.
There was a build awhile back when everything was working great and then something changed.
Is anyone else still having this issue?
