Edits to Calendar Events can't be Saved

About a month ago, I started having an issue with saving edited calendar events on a shared calendar that I manage. When I go into an existing Event and edit information such as the date, time, title, or other information and hit "SEND", I get a pop-up saying, "Something went wrong", that "We couldn't save your calendar event. Waiting a bit might help. Keep your calendar event open to try again later." (image of this pop-up is attached).

I have tried to "resume editing", and of course, have waited with the event open, but it still won't save. It seems like this is an issue many others are experiencing as well. Solutions I have seen on other threads include turning off weather displays on the calendar, clearing your cache, and using the app instead of a browser. I have tried all of these things, but nothing has solved this problem. I manage many regular calendar events, and it is a huge hassle to have to delete an original event and replicate it over again from scratch when it only needs a small update, and everyone invited to the event sees the cancellations and re-invitations and becomes confused.

Are there any other solutions that might help? Any updates soon? Thank you.

I too have no issues adding or editing calendar appointment in outlook calendar on my Apple mobile only the Outlook Desktop calendar.

I also identified today the issue for me is isolated to adding or editing calendar appointments associated to my gmail email address but works fine if I add or edit a calendar appointment associated with my business email account which was created via Wix.

Not sure how that makes a difference and if that is similar to others?

And how does one do that?

I have an Office 365 subscription on Windows 11 "Home" build 22631.4317 (should be current, but of course the System/System/About gives me no date). It is in my wife's name. She passed away 10 months ago, I can't read her email, and thanks to "2nd Factor Authentication" there's much I cannot do.

I have no idea how to "raise a support ticket", how to access the 1TB of storage that comes with the subscription, or how to ask MS about any of this.

As far as I can tell, MS does it's very best to hide behind a digital wall and ignore the folks that have purchased their products, all the while touting half-finished (but wonderful!) products like Bing, New Outlook, and the BS generator Copilot. MS have not changed since the stumbling bumbling days of Windows 2.0, releasing with great fanfare products that kinda sorta work much of the time.

I can safely write this because no one (at MS) is paying the slightest attention.

Same thing happened to me. It happens on multiple computers and multiple accounts including gmail outlook.com and comcast. The only thing they have in common is the program, got to be a bug!

Same problem for me - well over a week now.

I changed to Google Calendar, which works fine!

No more buggy useless "new" outlook for me.
