Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi there,
There is no need to be rude. I am not an IT person, nor should I be expected to hire one to send an email to a yahoo account.

Starting a couple of days ago, I am unable to send emails to Yahoo accounts from my Outlook email. Here is the error message I receive:
Your message wasn't delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, a connection to the remote server was closed abruptly.
Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that your email system is unable to connecto their email system. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.
For Email Admins
This often indicates the recipient's firewall SMTP fixup setting or other firewall settings are preventing the SMTP protocol negotiation from succeeding.

I went to the link suggested, and did not understand the instructions. Please assist. Thank you.

I agree. Those instructions are greek to me. This is a new issue that started a couple of weeks ago.
This started happening a few days ago as well. This is ridiculous I shouldnt be expected to be their IT guy.
Hi there,
Thanks for your information. Yahoo is the only one this is an issue with and, unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge or understanding to be able to adjust anything.
Hi there,
We are having the same issue in the UK and this seems like a lot to have to do just to receive emails. Is there no other solution? It's really inconvenient for our business.
Thanks
