Adding a Send Delay to outgoing emails on the New Outlook

Hello!

On the "Old version" of Outlook, it was relatively straightforward to add a send delay of, for example, 1 minute to outgoing emails, where the email is automatically stored in "Outgoing messages" for 1 minute before it is sent to the recipient. During this time you could make any changes to the email - re-read it, check and correct potential typos, etc. This could be done via a custom rule.

However, in the "New Outlook", this functionality appears to be removed. I was able to find an option to "Undo Send" for 10 seconds after send-out, however, 10 seconds isn't a lot of time.

Is it possible to add a send-delay to outgoing email in the "New Outlook" or was this functionality removed from the software?

    Hello,

Is there a way to configure a default send delay of 20 sec instead of instant send (with a default non-configured value of zero sec which becomes an instant send) ?

"Schedule send" still needs the user to click the drop down and configure the time stamp when the email should be sent out.

Hope the distinction of the use-case is clear .

    Best,

I'm looking for a default 1-minute send delay, too, before switching to New Outlook.

Summarizing previous posters in this thread as info seems to be scattered across many messages. For now, New Outlook has only two options for delaying send, and neither is as nice as in "old" Outlook.

"Undo send" works for all messages, but is limited to max 10 second delay:

"Schedule send" permits unlimited delay, but requires manual intervention on every single message:

"Old" Outlook permits a rule with arbitrarily long send delay which applies to all messages:
