How do I rearrange email accounts in the new Outlook?

I want to know how to rearrange, move, the multiple accounts I have in Outlook. Simply move one from the top to the bottom and vice versa. What would seem like a very simple task. The accounts I have are two Microsoft accounts and one Gmail account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. By the way this is the "New Outlook" so I've found you cant just click and drag the account like before. I'm guessing they require you to go back to school and get a masters in Computer Science to perform what should be a fairly simple task, Anyways, thank in advance for the help!

    I have multiple email accounts and the only way that worked for me was to set my primary email account first, then remove other accounts (as necessary) and re-add them. They will stay in the order added.

    Procedure:

    Click on the three dots next to primary account, choose "Manage account". In the new dialogue screen, click the Manage button against your Primary email and click on "Set **** primary account", follow the process.

    After restarting Outlook, click on the three dots next to primary account, choose "Manage account" again, but this time choose to Remove accounts between your Primary and what you wish to be your second.

    Now after having your Primary, second and third ... etc ... in order, click on Add account" below the email accounts (or wherever you have it) and start adding other emails in the order you wish.

    I was afraid that it will delete emails and to reload them again, but luckily, it went seamlessly, as if I was removing a title and re-adding it (it did not even request login details!!)

    Until Microsoft sort this one out, I hope someone will find this workaround useful.

    In the new outlook, there is no option for moving up and down in the --- three dots to the right of the email accounts.

    This would work if we knew the vertical sequencing prior to opening the accounts. Once the accounts are set, their order may not be changed. Hope that MS coders can add the up and down email account order option. 'Prof.' Ancis

    EASY WORK AROUND

    Hi, since the new outlook allows a primary, then auto organizes the others, the easy way to organize these is right click on one of the accounts, click on account settings, now you'll see all accounts. Click on the account you want first, then the first for that account is "account description". MS uses this to numero/alph the order. Put a 1 in front of the description of the account you want first, then a 2 in front of the next, etc... if you ever want to change this i.e. you added another account, just renumber them. After you do this, close settings and they move, just that easy.

    Example:

    1 Work Email Account

    2 Other Email Account

    3 Personal Account
