How do I rearrange email accounts in the new Outlook?

I want to know how to rearrange, move, the multiple accounts I have in Outlook. Simply move one from the top to the bottom and vice versa. What would seem like a very simple task. The accounts I have are two Microsoft accounts and one Gmail account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. By the way this is the "New Outlook" so I've found you cant just click and drag the account like before. I'm guessing they require you to go back to school and get a masters in Computer Science to perform what should be a fairly simple task, Anyways, thank in advance for the help!

    Actually a "post-gatesian feature". It all started going downhill AFTER Bill Gates left Microsoft.

    Going to say this right now, 9 months have gone by and there hasn't been a single update that fixes this simple issue of letting us drag and drop our email accounts in the order we want them. I'm sorry but I'm getting kinda fed up with this and I'm a new user of Outlook 2021 and even now I want to go back to Outlook 2019. <_<

    I agree that this email account rearrangement process should not take so long, or any length of time, to get corrected. I did go through the only valid gyration which ended up not working correctly. I did the new Outlook "Settings> Accounts> Manage> set the account you want to be on top as primary. Outlook will restart, and your account will be at the top. That's the only way to move it around" steps. Then the #1 email account name switched to to a #2 location and vice-versa.

    HOWEVER, the #1 Inbox stayed right where it had been, and the Sent file and the Drafts file also stayed right where they had been. Maybe it's just a Favorites thing, but the loose ends need not exist.

    What a lot of ****.
