I'm using Outlook 365 on my Windows 11 PC, and the Outlook android app on my smartphone. On the PC, I have a work calendar, an association calendar, and a private one. The android app only has the private e-mail account and calendar (this is for security reasons). Until very recently, I have been able to copy meetings from the work and association calendars to the private one on my PC, so that they show up in my android Outlook app.
Microsoft has removed this functionality without warning. Outlook blocks copying meetings with “Copying meetings is not supported.” - Microsoft Support.
The workaround (involving editing the regsitry) works, but what is the long term solution?
Microsoft Outlook Team
Please bring back the option to copy meetings - I move, copy and or drag and drop meetings to change conference rooms (we have 6) many times (sometimes 10-15x) throughout my day - I have been using this function for the past 12 years that I have been scheduling meetings for 53 people in my firm and your decision has made my job extremely difficult . . .technology is supposed to make our lives easier...
A Fact: This decision is not a productive one - I hope you are reading everyone's comments and considering reinstalling the function.
Again, please bring back the option to Move, Copy, and or Drag and Drop meetings on Microsoft Calendars - it will be greatly appreciated by ALL.
Thank You
Kathy - Denver
