Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments

I'm using Outlook 365 on my Windows 11 PC, and the Outlook android app on my smartphone. On the PC, I have a work calendar, an association calendar, and a private one. The android app only has the private e-mail account and calendar (this is for security reasons). Until very recently, I have been able to copy meetings from the work and association calendars to the private one on my PC, so that they show up in my android Outlook app.
Microsoft has removed this functionality without warning. Outlook blocks copying meetings with “Copying meetings is not supported.” - Microsoft Support.
The workaround (involving editing the regsitry) works, but what is the long term solution?

Hi Anna,
Thanks for the help. In my situation, I'm trying to coy meetings within a profile that I manage, but it's not my personal profile. I manage the development calendar for my company as a shared calendar owner, but it has a unique profile. Even when I create one meeting in the shared calendar I cannot copy/paste into the same calendar. I could up until the last update, it was very helpful for irregular recurring meetings.
How do you add a reg key?
We've had the same issue. It used to be so easy to drag meetings to our shared conference room calendar and now that options has been removed.
Has anyone found a good solution for another calendar option where you can drag / copy meetings to a shared calendar?
Nice. :)
