I have my Outlook for Mac inbox setup with the list of emails on the left and the reading pane on the right. When scrolling through the list of messages in the list on the left, in my inbox as well as messages stored in other folders, it is very difficult for me to tell which email is selected in the list. Many years ago, when a message was selected in the list it was highlighted in a deep blue color… Now it’s a very faint light blue color that is really hard for me to see (yes I do have some vision issues... but it's also so faint I have to imagine others have the same issue).
As a result, I frequently delete the wrong email etc. because I can't tell what is actually highlighted. Is there a way to change the default color of a highlighted message in the list, to make it easier to tell which message is highlighted? I tried messing around with the overall theme in the settings, and while the red theme made it a bit better I sort of hate the look of the other themes... so is there a way to only change of the highlighted message? If not, do you have any recommendations on how to avoid these mistakes?

Microsoft, this is a huge inconvenience within Outlook 365 for Mac. I am a loyal subscriber of a yearly subscription and for that price should not have this most frustrating inconvenience for what I would think would be a simple fix on your end. This was never an issue before one of your updates. Please address this.

This UUSED to work just fine and suddenly it changed! What is going on and why can't this be corrected?
I also have difficulty seeing which message is selected. I do not have vision issues, but the color difference between selected and unselected messages is almost invisible.
Lebeamlak—If you look back, you will see that we Mac users have been posting on this for quite some time in this forum. You have simply restated what has been stated over and over again. David may be understanding, but I certainly am not. I am rather frustrated. I just don't get what is so difficult about this fix. And why such unfriendly colors as options? I wish that I could use Gmail always, but sadly, I am at the mercy of MS :(
The error in this discussion is the presumption that loss of this feature was some sort of mistake. NO. The only way it disappeared was a deliberate maneuver. Upgrades don't mistakingly delete features. THEY ARE INTENTIONALLY DELETED. MS has done this too many times on other software programs, and they never "fix" them. Remember this the next tine you are encouraged to upgrade your existing programs. The biggest lie of MS is when they describe any update as "TO IMPROVE THE USER'S EXPERIENCE". Total b.s.
