Hi, I am having several problems with my outlook (new) app. I cannot import .ics files into the app as no calendar is available in the "Upload from file" window. I have verified that Outlook (new) is the default for .ics files. I cannot sync my Outlook app calendar on my laptop with my Calendar app on my Iphone 10. I get an error message when I try to sync it via Icloud. PS: I am using a gmail account for my outlook. Any suggestions? Best, Finn

I have now successfully imported the Calendar entries as per my post below - it is a total disaster. With Apple Calendar I can set multiple alerts to remind me a week before, and then 2 hours etc, but to my absolute astonishment, this is not supported by Outlook!!! Seriously? This software has existed for decades. Back to Apple Calendar for me.

Hi Microsoft. The import .ics function to the "New Outlook" needs to be worked on and fixed as this work around is simply not very efficient. Do you have a date when we can expect this feature to work? Please.

Think seriously if you want it. I found out as per earlier post, it can only do ONE reminder for an event, whereas the Apple Calendar can do several at least, say 2 weeks before, 2 days before and an hour before. Not transferring my Cal to Outlook now, just too subfunctional. If you are stuggling to do it, look at my post above, basically email ICS then open IN THE CLOUD ie outlook.com Hope that helps.

Hi,
