Hi, I am having several problems with my outlook (new) app. I cannot import .ics files into the app as no calendar is available in the "Upload from file" window. I have verified that Outlook (new) is the default for .ics files. I cannot sync my Outlook app calendar on my laptop with my Calendar app on my Iphone 10. I get an error message when I try to sync it via Icloud. PS: I am using a gmail account for my outlook. Any suggestions? Best, Finn

Hi Microsoft. The import .ics function to the "New Outlook" needs to be worked on and fixed as this work around is simply not very efficient. Do you have a date when we can expect this feature to work? Please.

I have now successfully imported the Calendar entries as per my post below - it is a total disaster. With Apple Calendar I can set multiple alerts to remind me a week before, and then 2 hours etc, but to my absolute astonishment, this is not supported by Outlook!!! Seriously? This software has existed for decades. Back to Apple Calendar for me.

I exported the Apple Calendar to Downloads as tried before, creating an ICS file. (export....) I mailed it to myself and then opened it IN THE CLOUD NOT on the Mac Desktop Outlook and hey presto it loaded first time, so the key is to import by accessing: https//outlook.com Click on email with ICS attachment you mailed to yourself Open the ICS attachment in same email Click on Home.ics, Open and it will then import. I do wish Microsoft would test software prior to release or monitor user forums and respond.

(since accounts are usually sunched acrosss devices).. so if opening it in mobile works for one ics file.. then why not the orignal emails ics?.. follow?
