Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

Outlook unexpectedly has an App Search bar above the message list
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?
I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.
If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.
Please help.
Thank you!

Try updating your Office installation (File > Account > Update Options > Update Now).
The bug should be fixed; see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/outlook-unexpectedly-has-an-app-search-bar-above-the-message-list-c1bed629-0d4e-42d4-b66e-877cccb74b47.
Is the workaround seriously still the best answer they have for this issue? I read that they were supposed to release some kind of fix on February 13th??
THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED FOR ME
File/then office account/then Microsoft 365 and office updates (right corner)
Finally, you have to turn off your computer.
Would love to hear what you recommend then to fix this issue, because this is the only thing that has worked.
