This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

Although I have the same issue as everyone else on this thread and the link shows the problem, I was surprised that the version in the link does not match my version. I have the previous version 2401 (build 17231.20194), not version 2402 (build 17231.20182). It feels like I got the app search about 5 days ago but no idea how as I always update manually and have not done so in about a month. It also shows I have an update waiting.

I have the same issue, only practical way of using the search function is temporarily dragging the column width wider and reducing the preview pane. Not the end of the world but very annoying.
