This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

there are other ways around the whole issue. You can widen your reading pane so you can actually see the whole search box. Keep in mind this doesnt take away the stupid search app bar. You could also change the view of your outlook by going to "view" "Reading pane" turn too off or show at bottom if you need a preview of the email. Again these options dont take away the app search bar just allows you to see the whole regular search bar instead of that tiny box where you cant see what you type. Assuming until they come out with another update we're stuck with it.
