This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

Please have a look at this Support article:

Outlook unexpectedly has an App Search bar above the message list

The solution from Hal worked for me and no reboot was required. This rolls office back to an earlier version, then you turn off updates. Then after Feb 13, turn updates back on and see if the expected Microsoft patch worked.
