This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

This solution does not work for me either. Like the original customer in this thread, I have exactly the same problem, and I also do not have the 'uncheck' options described. My outlook search options look exactly the same those in the post, although mine is Outlook Professional 2016 (not 2019). Like all the customers this update has completely messed up my inbox and calendar search options, while providing a huge ugly 'App Search box' that does not even work. Please can MS supply a fix to all the thousands of customers who now have this problem as a result of their update?

Disabling updates is the worst possible solution... Better wait until they fix this and do not disable updates.
