Outlook unexpectedly has an App Search bar above the message list
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?
I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.
If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.
Please help.
Thank you!

Try updating your Office installation (File > Account > Update Options > Update Now).
The bug should be fixed; see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/outlook-unexpectedly-has-an-app-search-bar-above-the-message-list-c1bed629-0d4e-42d4-b66e-877cccb74b47.
Exactly...what is the point of adding something on and it does not even work. Plus, what is it even supposed to do?
I understand programs are updated randomly, but did anyone check the functionality of this "App Search" option before blasting it out to every use?
PLEASE REMOVE THIS SEARCH BAR @MICROSOFT. IT IS ANNOYING
I have the same issue. Outlook 2019. It appeared recently and it seems that there is no way to remote it
I see some solutions by going to the previous version, but I expect Microsoft to add an option to hide this app search bar. I don't want to stop the update and not necessarily go back to the previous version. I also don't want my application to be crowded with things that I don't need/use.
