I am trying to copy and paste from one email to another and outlook will not keep the format. This is the new outlook app so there is no File tab like suggested in every other answer.

I am also having this issue and none of these replies have been useful at all to come to a resolution.
Fix your program.
Why is this issue not being fixed. What an oversight in development and backword movement for your APP.
Is MS going to answer? While many of us appreciate the attempts from users, MS needs to investigage. This paste option has worked for years. It is not ALL paste attempts, just some. for me, with excel. The keep formatting has been mentioned many times, but this is not a solution for all. Additionally, keep formatting has been around for a LONG time.
Is MS going to support this app or not?
When I started this chain of posts, that was my question.
Most of the responses to my initial question about the formatting not being posted into a new email draft were not answered until (I forgot her name) posted a simple solution to that issue.
When you Copy then Paste what you want, of example, in a new email draft, the formatted information does not show. However, if you click on the Paste symbol, the information will be pasted into your document while retaining the formatting:
the colors from the original information changes to that in the draft.
I noticed this morning that the Tips section in New Outlook had a Tip about the change in the Paste feature. See below:
I have the same issue but with e-mail signatures, just as Janice Manikowski mentioned.
It is not possible to paste a new e-mail signature and keep formatting, which is very annoying. And of course I cannot go back to the older version of Outlook where it was possible.
This is a very basic functionality and I'm surprised that Microsoft would not include it. Another case of Microsoft updating their product and removing basic functionalities...
Now it is not possible for me to set up my e-mail signature and there is no workaround for it...
It has been over 6 months and @Microsoft still have not introduced a solution or even made a comment...to be honest...this is no longer disappointing but actually disrespectful to the user.
